Chinese Proverb
“A rat who gnaws at a cat’s tail invites destruction.”

This proverb is saying that if you tease or annoy someone or something dangerous to you, you are inviting death or destruction. Cats and mice are natural enemies so if a mouse is annoying a cat, the cat will certainly kill him. I have had some experience with this because if I tease my older brother sometimes, he will chase me. I know he will have that reaction but I still do it. You basically want to get hurt or have something bad happen to you.

If you hurt someone they will probably want to hurt you back, whether it be with words or physically.

  1. I definitely would agree with you. If I tried to bite a crocodile, I am basically letting it take a snap at me.
